CLOU has nearly 30 years of experience in the power industry, with businesses focused on two core sectors: smart grids and battery energy storage. Leveraging deep power-system expertise, CLOU helped pioneer China’s intelligent metering and grid-automation terminals.
In energy storage, CLOU entered the market in 2009. We built China’s first MWh-level containerized ESS and obtained the first 3 MW PCS certified by the China Quality Certification Center. Our BESS holds UL 9540 certification issued by TÜV Rheinland, and our PCS is ETL-listed by Intertek. In 2023, all nine sites of our TX10 portfolio in Texas ranked in ERCOT’s Top 30 for market revenue, with around US$196k/MW annual revenue as reported by Modo Energy.
CLOU’s current storage portfolio spans utility-scale and C&I applications, including the 6.88MWh Aqua C3.0 Pro liquid-cooled system, 5 MWh+ Aqua-C2.5 liquid-cooled system, the Aqua-E233 C&I ESS, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and high-performance battery modules.
