CLOU Showcases Eco-Adaptive Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage at SIEW 2025, Aiding Singapore's Net Zero Target

2025/10/30

The 18th Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW 2025) convened in Singapore from October 27-30, 2025, under the theme "Envisioning Energy Tomorrow, Building Systems Today." CLOU showcased the latest utility-scale energy storage systems, and commercial & industrial (C&I) storage solutions. During the exhibition, CLOU welcomed distinguished visitors to its booth including: Dr. Janil Puthucheary – Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment & Ministry of Education, Mr. Edwin Khew – Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore, and Ms. Kavita Gandhi – Executive Director of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore. CLOU representatives briefed the delegation on the company's Southeast Asia energy storage strategy and recent technological advancements.

Organized by Singapore's Energy Market Authority, the SIEW is Asia's premier platform for global energy discourse. The event brings together industry professionals and policymakers to share best practices and innovative solutions across the energy sector. High-profile attendees, including energy ministers, ambassadors, and leaders from top global energy and utility companies, participated in discussions on crucial topics such as international energy cooperation and disruptive technologies.

Singapore is accelerating its transition toward a net-zero emissions target by 2050, as outlined in the Singapore Green Plan 2030. Energy storage technology is poised to facilitate this energy transformation by addressing critical challenges: enhancing power output stability, increasing grid flexibility, and boosting overall energy efficiency.

CLOU has engineered its liquid-cooled energy storage system specifically for Singapore’s demanding coastal environment – characterized by high salinity, high humidity, and consistently high temperatures, delivering customized energy storage products and services that precision-target the region’s market demands

CLOU unveiled the next-generation liquid-cooled energy storage system, the Aqua-C3.0 Pro in this August, featuring industry-leading specifications. The system employs 600Ah+ ultra-large capacity cells and achieves a single-cabinet capacity of 6.88 MWh, marking a significant leap in efficiency, safety, and operational simplicity. These advancements deliver a 10.63% reduction in total cost of ownership (TCO).

Specifically engineered for challenging environments, the Aqua-C3.0 Pro incorporates heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings and high-protection-level design enhancements to effectively resist salt spray in high-salt, high-humidity coastal regions like Singapore. Furthermore, its advanced liquid cooling technology ensures stable operation, optimal performance, and enhanced long-term reliability under demanding tropical conditions.

Since launching its global expansion strategy in 2018, CLOU has delivered numerous iconic projects across the Americas and established a business network spanning key markets in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East and Africa. The company will persistently deepen its commitment to Southeast Asia, planning a regional sales center and a branch office in Singapore.

These initiatives will develop localized products and solutions tailored to the region. CLOU will also establish a dedicated local team to provide Southeast Asian customers with responsive support, strengthening its competitive position across the Asia Pacific region and the global market.

“Southeast Asia is one of the most dynamic energy storage markets in the world, and its rapidly growing demand is highly aligned with our technological expertise and development direction,” said Charles Gao, President of the Asia-Pacific Department, Overseas Business Center of CLOU Energy Storage. "Establishing a sales center and a branch office in Singapore is the strategic focus of our long-term investment in this region. This move will improve our capabilities in product localization, rapid response, and customer services significantly, and better support local partners and customers in accelerating the transition towards clean energy. ”
